American Wooden Products was an idea that was born around a fire pit in my backyard.  I have a cabinet company that makes custom cabinets and we were slow at the time, so I was thinking of ways to keep people busy, as well as expand. I was putting real nice hardwood scraps in the pit, realizing it what waste of beautiful hardwoods. The idea of cutting boards came to me. We use high quality stock in our cabinets and they are perfect for quality cutting boards.  AWP has grown to include custom drawers inserts as well as radiator covers. More to come!
